[Dallas] Detailed seating chart finally released! How are the supporter seats arranged?

World Cup Spectator Profile Stadium

Where are the Japan supporter seats, and how many are available?

FIFA World Cup 2026.
The Dallas (AT&T Stadium)detailed official seating maphas finally been released.

This reveals

  • which price categories are
  • positioned where in the stadium,

making things much clearer. From here, I want to particularly analyze the behind-the-goal seats.

Zooming in on the left half:

AT&T Stadium detailed seating chart and category division map

What we can see here is that the Supporters Tier is essentially behind-the-goal seating. Great news for fans who consider behind-the-goal the essence of supporter culture. Those wanting to see the full pitch should look at pitchside seats, mainly Cat1 and Cat2.

Additionally, here's one point that's a bit frustrating. So few Category 4 seats!(In the chart, it's areas like the left side of Section 401 in the upper right.)

FIFA, having promised to bring back supporters with minimum $60 tickets when bidding for the US hosting, likely created a token number of affordable seats.

Dallas (AT&T Stadium) Ticket Allocation

Below, I want to briefly analyze the allocation numbers for these color-coded seats.

  • Venue: AT&T Stadium (Dallas)
  • Saleable Capacity:Approximately 87,000 seats
    * Estimated by excluding media seats, camera positions, obstructed views, etc. from the nominal 94,000 capacity
  • Total tickets for the entire tournament:Approximately 7 million tickets
  • Total matches:104 matches

Simply averaging,
the scale per match is about 67,000 seats, but
since Dallas is one of the largest venues in the tournament, approximately 87,000 seats per matchis our estimate.

Dallas Japan Match Ticket Structure (Overview)

First,

let's look at the general sales portion. This is thea significant portion. These tickets have been distributed through the first two lottery phases(Visa Presale and Early Draw). That means about 26,000 seats are already in someone's hands
and will not appear in any future draw.30%General Sales (Rounds 1 & 2)Approximately 26,000 seatsAlready distributed
General Sales (Round 3 / Current)14%Approximately 12,000 seatsCurrently in lotteryJapan Supporter Allocation (PMA)
Approximately 7,000 seats8%JFA applicationOpposing Team Supporter AllocationApproximately 7,000 seats
[Future] PMA (opponent side)8%JFA applicationOpposing Team Supporter Allocation[Future] PMA (opponent side)
Non-General Allocation40%Approximately 2.8 million ticketsApproximately 35,000 seatsHospitality, operations, etc.
Total100%Approximately 7 million ticketsApproximately 87,000 seats

Verifying the Numbers One by One

1. General Sales Completed (Rounds 1 & 2): 30%

FIFA has
officially announced that over 2 million tickets were sold in the first two phases (Visa Presale and Early Draw).
as officially announced.

Dividing this by the total tournament tickets (approximately 7 million), this represents about 30%.

Applied to a single Dallas match,

  • 87,000 × 30% ≒ Approximately 26,000 seats

In other words, about 30% of Dallas seats are already gone from the market.already in this state.

2. General Sales (Round 3 - Current): 14%

The current general draw (Round 3) involves
an estimatedapproximately 1 million ticketsacross the tournament.

  • 1M / 7M = approximately 14%
  • Dallas equivalent:
    87,000 × 14% ≒ Currently in lottery

These approximately 12,000 seats are
being targeted by supporters from around the world simultaneously-- that's the situation.

3. Japan Supporter Allocation (PMA - Home Side): 8%

Under FIFA's rules,

for each match,
'8% of saleable capacity' is allocated to each team's association (PMA).

as stipulated.

  • Dallas equivalent:
    87,000 × 8% ≒ Opposing Team Supporter Allocation
  • Tournament-wide:
    7M x 8% = JFA application

This is
the allocation exclusively for Japan national team supporters..

4. Opposing Team Supporter Allocation: 8%

Approximately 7,000 seats
Applied to JFA (Japan Football Association) application.

  • Dallas equivalent:Opposing Team Supporter Allocation

Similarly, 8% is allocated to the opposing team's association.
Approximately 7,000 seats.

5. Non-General Allocation (40%)

This section is largely out of our control and depends on how much demand the opposing country has.

  • That said,
  • the Japan vs Colombia match (Dallas) is expected to see some of these seats go unused,
  • so there's a possibility they may be returned to the general pool.
  • About 40% of the total tickets across the tournament

are classified as non-general allocation.

  • Dallas equivalent:
These include hospitality packages, sponsor allocations, FIFA family, media, and operational staff seats. Approximately 35,000 seats

About 40% of the stadium is never available for general sale-- that's the reality.

Seating Chart and 'Supporter Seats' Relationship

The Dallas seating chart released this time shows labels such as

  • Supporters Premier
  • Supporters Standard
  • Supporters Value

and similar designations.

However, this is a very commonly misunderstood point.

'Supporters' label does NOT mean $60 seats.

Actual Allocation Method

  • The approximately 7,000 seats for Japan supporters are spread across
    • Value Tier (mainly upper levels)
    • Standard Tier (middle levels)
    • Premier Tier (some lower level sections)
and aredistributed across multiple areas.are distributed.
  • The so-called $60 tickets (Entry Tier)represent only about10% of these 7,000 seats (approx. 700 seats) (seating details to be announced)

In other words,

  • There is NOT a large block of $60 seats in one area
  • Even within the same Tier, seat quality varies greatly

-- that's the structure.

Summary: What to Do Now That the Seating Chart Is Visible

  • Dallas has a massive 87,000-seat stadium.
  • However,Japan supporters only have a structural advantage for about 8% (approximately 7,000 seats).
  • The general draw (approximately 12,000 seats) is
a war of attrition against the entire world.
  • $60 tickets are
overpriced, a lottery competing for about 700 seats.
