In the previous article, we discussed options for duplicate lottery winners. This time, we explain the specific steps.
⚠️ [Important] List Your Tickets Now!
Based on past experience, right after discovering duplicate wins is the best time to sell at the highest price. Since prices tend to decline over time, listing early is advisable.
📢 The site is currently extremely congested
The FIFA resale site is experiencing heavy traffic and may be hard to reach. If you get errors, keep trying persistently!

[Note] About Lottery Notification and Payment Timing
Many of you considering resale listings are likely duplicate winners. Here is some important information about the timing of notifications and payment.
Official Schedule
According to the FIFA support page (FAQ):
- Results notification: Emails sent from Feb 5, 2026 onward. Only winners receive notifications.
- Automatic charge: Card charges begin automatically from Feb 9. There is a lag between receiving notification and being charged.
In other words, the best approach is to log in immediately when you receive the email to check details, and confirm your funds before being charged. If you do not receive a notification, it means you were unsuccessful (or it has not yet arrived), so no charges will apply.
Key Points for Checking Your Email
- Subject line: "FIFA World Cup 2026 Ticket Application" etc.
- Sender: no-reply.fwc26@tickets.fifa.org or noreply@mail.tickets.fifa.com
- Important: Make sure to check your spam folder!
If you have not received an email, log in to your FIFA account to check your status, or wait for notifications after February 9.
Current Status (as of February 5, 2026)
As of Feb 5, there are very few real-time reports on X (formerly Twitter) or Reddit saying they received winner emails. With over 500 million applications, processing takes time. More emails are expected to go out tonight.
Note on payment lag

Comments
Today (Feb 11), I tried following these steps on my phone to check the resale process after winning duplicates with my companion, but on the 'Manage your resale tickets' screen it showed 'No ticket(s) currently available'.
Our duplicate wins were: 2 Tunisia match tickets (Cat2) and 1 European PO match ticket (Cat1). My companion also won 4 Netherlands match tickets (2 supporter + 2 general), and we plan to resell 2.
My screen also shows previous tickets, but third lottery wins have not yet appeared. Since Feb 9 payments are still processing, we suggest checking again after the weekend (from Feb 16).
Nice to meet you. I won duplicate tickets and want to resell them. I found this guide very helpful. Thank you for the valuable information.
However, I followed the steps but ran into issues. I was hoping you could help if you know the solution.
I purchased several tickets in the 3rd lottery but ended up with duplicates and am considering resale. I followed the steps up to Step 3, but at Step 4 my purchased tickets do not appear.
The tickets do exist on the FIFA ticket purchase site, but they do not seem to be reflected on the resale marketplace page.
The Feb 9 charges have been processed successfully.
If you know the cause or any solutions, I would greatly appreciate your guidance.
Thank you for your comment. Tickets from the 3rd lottery may take several days after the Feb 9 payment to appear on the resale marketplace. We recommend trying again after Feb 16.
